    AMP Research I believe to be the best out there. They will run you 1200.00 or so but you will have to install them. By bill was 1900.00 OTD installed.

    Thank you..

    I will say this to anyone reading this thread regardless of whom you buy your steps from;
    Amp steps come in one length, or at least they did when I bought them.
    If you have a double cab, you have to cut the steps to size.
    Measure the steps and your truck yourself before cutting them.
    I cut mine according to the Amp instructions without measuring myself.
    I wish I had made them a little longer...

    Also mine are tapped into OEM wiring.
    Use Posi-taps (instead of cheap t-taps) and make sure you get a connection because the stock wiring in the kick panel is very small gauge.
    Really got to work it to get a good solid electrical connection..

    And 1 more thing;
    The cheap little stick on LED lights that came with the steps are worthless.
    Invest in a good LED strip when you install your steps.
    I bought superbright metal strips, painted them to match the body color, and used a good 3M molding tape to attach to the truck...

    If I had it to do over again, I would buy these low profile strips.
    Probably wouldn't even have to paint them.
    Maybe a 4K light in 24", 1 per side...

    Other than than, no issues in 4 years....

    Amps are the best. You always pay for what you get. I love mine but will be swapping them out for rock sliders next year.

    most likely the Cali raised LEDs. I like how it covers the whole side from behind the front wheel weld to the front of the rear wheel weld. More coverage/more protection lol

    I love my AMP’s. love them.

    My truck is a work truck and they get used and abused all day every day in and out of that truck constantly for 3 years.

    Another AMP Research Powerstep user. Love them. They are a bit louder than ones installed on OEMs. Mine are the dual motors, which I paid $1,200 for and installed them myself. Unfortunately, one of the wires for the motors was switched so I had to invert them. Could not understand why, at first, my passenger side looked like it was struggling as I could hear the motors activate.

    Jeez, I didn't realize they would raise the prices on these. That is ridiculous, if they are the single motor ones.

    Quick question, I notice you got the DC version, did you cut your boards or did they come that way?

    EDIT: Nevermind, saw your follow up post. I see that you mentioned you cut them. Sorry!

    I love mine. I’ll be putting a set on my next truck. I paid just under $1300 shipped for my Tundra set from TonneauCovered.com which was the best price I could find at the time.

    Install wasn’t particularly difficult but since I’m OCD it took a little while to get it all installed and all wires tucked away. Definitely spring for the extra override switch. It is a must.
