Looking to add remote start to my 18 SR5. The eBay route is sketchy at best. Prefer a true “plug n play” option, if such a harness exists?
Any good advice here is much appreciated…..

Lots of those “exist”. I have 12voltsolutions in my 17 tundra and 21 rav4, zero issues, easy install. Lots of threads on this exact topic in here. All your research has been done for you.

I bought Start-X for my 18' SR5 and love it. Simple enough plug and play, which used the original key to operate.

I too have a Start-x, been on my ‘21 for about 2 years, it’s been flawless.

I have push to start (I didn't see if you specified?) and the Accessoride remote start system works great. Doesn't shut off when doors are opened. Took about an hour removing/re installing the dash around the glove box, and about 5 seconds to plug it in and zip tire the extra wiring.

I have Compustar with DroneMobile add on (allows you to start from your phone). Have on 3 different vehicles so no extra crap on my key chain since always have phone on me.
