I need to replace all the sway bar links, tie rods, control arms, bushings, and ball joints on my 2000 4x4 tundra. I don’t know much about parts and was wondering if there was any brand that is works better for tundras. I don’t do much off roading but do get into some harry sisuations while hunting. I looked at the Toyota oem And they seem significantly higher than other brands. Just wondering what works for you guys. I was leaning towards Moog.

Greetings, my only advice for the parts you’re talking about is to go with moog and oem.

I concur. Most will say only oem on the lower ball joints, but I've never had a problem with moog.

If you're considering getting entirely new control arms, only go OEM on those as well. I have heard of issues with some aftermarket ones. I would look up your front end on a Toyota parts website of your choosing and find the correct part number, then you can search that number on Amazon for example and just buy it with factory bushings already installed. Food for thought

I personally am using MOOG Tie rod ends and just ordered their sway bar end links. I concur with the gentlemen above, OEM on the LBJ's. I've heard of them failing completely and knowing the factory ones have held up to 150,000-200,000 miles is good by me!

My opinion is, when it comes to vital stuff like this, don't skimp. If you buy quality from the beginning it will last and more importantly keep you safe!

I just did my front end with OEM ball joints and tie rod ends and AC Delco Pro. control arms. Was very happy with the quality of the control arms. The OEM parts are maintenance free, no grease fittings.

Ive heard good things about Beck/arnley and Sankei 555 tie rods on other yota forums. Anyone else have experience with these brands? Im interested in front end replacement too

I just did Toyota CV axles, lower ball joints & outer tie rod ends. I used Brembo rotors & Toyota ceramic pads. I have Toyota upper ball joints but haven’t done them yet.2032719E-E1D3-4368-A472-B94D2D2A4ADE.jpg F9A71FF7-FBBA-4D7D-8784-8A637A665370.jpg03C60900-551E-4003-AC41-D8111ED4BDE4.jpg44308C8C-339F-40B2-A107-226629AC7C1E.jpg
