Imo stay away from the RainX brand that allegedly applies a coating when used. I’ve been unimpressed.
I’ll probably try some Bosch blades this summer.

Trico Force. I’m a few months into a set on the Tundra, so far I’m very happy. Smooth, quiet, no skipping. Lots of graphite in the rubber wiper edge. The Bosch blades I previously installed on 2 vehicles were crap after a week. After 9 months they were dangerous.

Youre in luck!! @ARamirez73 is from TX and works on the railroad. He was recently in Athens, so he probably would have swung through and installed them for you.

    This ^^^.

But you MUST be specific. Most Toyota parts departments (you know, the place you actually walk in to) have a wiper display and when you ask the parts guy he looks them up then grabs them off the display. THOSE ARE NOT OEM. Some cheaper version there of. Why does this matter? Cuz the Mama Toyota OEM wipe blades are crazy/nutz/insane good. I bought my Tundra in December of 2016. I'M STILL RUNNING THEM. No runs. No drips. No errors. NO STREAKING.

You have to tell the parts guy at the counter (you know, the place you actually walk in to) that you want THEE OEM blades. It's an additional look up for him. And "yes" he'll say "now you know these are more expensive." No shit Sherlock. I'm in my 3rd year. Unbelievable. I know all this cuz I went into a dealership to get blades just to have on hand. When I finally burrowed down to the real story on the OEM blades he said that they don't stock them and he'd have to order them. Ho hum.

And now my lawyer has asked that I pass along this tid bit of advice >>> YMMV.

With a little rain, or wet road kick up, the OEM wipers (on a '16) sound like a small dog spasmodically yarking. Loudly. Hopefully the new OEMs are better.

I need a new set, will try the ICONs and with this shitty Boston weather should be able to get a "first impressions" road test as soon as they arrive.

X2 on this, I tried those rainx ones that apply a coating on a previous vehicle. The coating went on blotchy and the blades wore out extra fast.

I need new wipers now and will likely grab some Bosch icons this time around.

My wifes Lexus GX gets about 2 two years form OEM in hot Texas sun. The Lexus Dealer sells just the blades for like $20. A few more minutes to install but they really good.

PIAA Super Silicone are the best wipers I've ever owned. Haven't tried them yet on the Tundra, but intend on replacing the stockers soon. Might try their Si-Tech which is similar to the Bosch ICONs
