Bet you wish you were cool like me (Qualtrics Toyota Owners' Intersection)

I'm curious if anybody else recently received this mail:

We are very interested in your participation and hope that you will join us. Simply click on the link below to complete a short profiling questionnaire. After that, you will be invited to participate in discussions, in-person events, and other surveys on various topics related to Toyota.

Does this mean I'm now an Influencer? I'm expecting a flood of followers to my social feeds and untold advertising revenue.

LOL. I got that email 9 or so months ago. I've received 5 or 6 surveys since.

 

I definitely submitted the form, after doing some due diligence to make sure I wasn't falling for a Trojan Horse, and I'm looking forward to sharing opinions and getting the scoop.

 

Wait, so that means I'm now as cool as you were 9 months ago? And are you increasing or decreasing in coolness?

 

Correct. You are now cooler as you're the new hotness. I am the 9 month old and busted, decreasing in coolness daily.

 

Poop, looks like they sent me this email back in October too, and I ignored it then. Well, I'm on board now.

 

This is the best way to offer real world feedback to them, fill it out as thoroughly as possible.

 

Got my first one about 6 years ago. I fill it out each time.

I've been doing it for awhile as well. You have the possibility of getting some fun and interesting opportunities as well as some insight into future plans for the Tundra.

 

I just got this this morning. The initial survey seemed much more about who I was vs the truck or vehicle. I guess I’ll see if I get anymore and what they ask about

 

Yeah, that's because they need to see what demographic you fit into and other data points that determine what, if any surveys they send. If you're a 9-5 guy that doesn't ever go off road or tow a trailer/load the bed up frequently, they aren't going to target you for surveys about that stuff because you aren't the target audience for it. You might get stuff more related to creature comfort, gas mileage, warranty ideas on the horizon, stuff like that.

 

I too get this email periodically, I assumed everybody got it.
Even thought it was a scam.

 

I work in software, and I was pretty cautious and blew it off for a while while i did some investigation. It does smell a lot like a scam.

 

The latest survey they requested was asking questions directly about remote start and dissatisfaction related to subscription services and vehicle turning off upon door unlock. May be making progress in that direction finally.

 

I hope so. Tipping and subscription services are the scam of our modern society
