    Hello All,
New to the Forum but hopefully can get some help/advice as one of my BFGOODRICH ALL TERRAIN AT KO2 tire had sidewall separation (285/55/R20) see pictures below. This happened while driving 65 mph during Houstons 5 o'clock traffic. I safely made it to the shoulder but had to continue on pavement for approx 50 yards. There was No damage to the body but however rim is damage including the TPMS, which apparently isn't covered tire manufacture of the road hazard from the dealership.
Not sure if this is a common issue so I'm just some advice and/or direction to move forward getting the issues caused by the blowout.
Just FYI GULLO Toyota in Houston service group is and was TOP NoOTCH
ESPECIALLY since multiple of dealerships wouldn't even assist
    Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear about this! How long have you had those tires? What’s the date code on the tires? Sidewall failure like that is most often caused by under inflation. With TPMS, this should be less of an issue these days. Don't think I’ve seen a BFG fail in that manner. Hopefully you can find a matching wheel, or maybe it’s time for an upgrade!

    Welcome from NorCal!

I had my Cooper STT blow out on the highway as well. Looks like your wheel's rim ate through the sidewall as you continued to roll forward rather than a separation - same thing happened to my tire. When I was driving I started to feel the steering wheel feel heavier on the driver side (where it blew), which is when I pulled off to the side of the road. I ended up buying a new set of different brand tires because I knew if I purchased the same set it would always be in the back of my mind - "will it blow out again????"
