Greeting thank you for the add. I am posting this cause i just want some more appinions. I am looking at 285/75 R17 i am getting some method 17" rims with the tires. I am currently debating what new tires to get in about a month. I have narrowed it down to bfg ko2 (witch i have a pair and am very happy with and have over 50k miles on) or Nitto ridge grappler ( i had a friend recomend them to me and i like the pattern). But i have read conflicting reviews on the nitto's about them shredding on people. I mainly drive 70 on road 30 off. I live in Louisiana but in the summers i drive out to colorado or montana and work for the summer where i am usually driving on forest service roads and some mountain passes. But i still drive majority on road. I drive an 07 tundra 4x4 about to get an OME 2.5" lift.
P.S. I was looking at coopers but had two friends both tell me they had blow out's and shredded tires with the coopers. But still intrested in what yall think.

I'm in Louisiana as well and run the nittos. Haven't had too long but so far no complaints.

Ridge Grapplers have treated me well, haven’t gotten them Offroad much so I can’t testify to that.

@Watt maker . Thank you that really helps. I also should have mentioned i really need a strong side wall cause i am blind in my right eye. I usually rub curves when i turn to my right cause i don't see them lol. See i was on the fence cause i am trying to retain as much MPG as possible because i am driving long distances in the summer. Montana this summer again. Its about 2k miles out. So with the nittos what kind of mpg do you see in the tundra.

ON my first Tundra I ran Nitto's for 95 thousand miles, on the second set I ran them for 100 (mostly highway miles), I bought a set at 210 thousand miles and the truck has 255 thousand miles and they still look good.

On my SECOND TUNDRA I'm waiting a bit to change tires, but the Michelins on the new truck still look good. but as soon as I can, I'm changing them to 285/70R 18's Nittos

Exact size I’ve decided to go with. Best of both worlds.

Had both the ko2s and ridge grapplers on my 4runner. I prefer the performance of the ridge grapplers overall.
