    Hello all,

My wife has a 2020 Cavalry Blue CM Tundra that we would like to lift. I got a screaming deal on some new in box Bilstein 5100s for the front and rear and started researching what springs to put on as I would like to have a full set up ready to go before installing it since she will unwrap it for Christmas.

Currently the suspension is stock but we managed to squeeze some almost 35s under it, a 295/70/18 Toyo MT… As much as the wife would like a 6-8” lift; I don’t think it fits all the cards. However, I have researched a bit on it and I run into dead ends or old threads (zombiiieeee)

Question: If I purchase the Eibach 2.5” lift springs on the first notch of the 5100s, I’m gathering I will be just under a 3” front lift and it should be comfortable for daily use and mild offroading… I saw some people mention they wanted a hair bit more lift to match their 2” lift blocks in the rear so they went to the 2nd notch on the 5100s, but there’s not a lot of follow up regarding this set up, and even less pictures to see what it looks like.

My worry is we plan to run the Deaver U748 rear leaf set up because we have a RCI bed rack and a RTT… But I think the Deaver will be over the 2” height and we will be back where we are now…. Nose down. We hardly ever tow and the more serious offroading is done by my 4Runner in the picture. When these 295s wear out, we may jump to 37s.

    The Eibach springs are: E30-82-079-02-20
The Bilsteins are: 24-232173 and 24-186971
Deaver: U748 (but for now we might just do a simple lift block to get it on the truck and not be squatted)

Here is a thread that motivates me, that truck has the same set up and looks great, but it is on 37s.

Nice set of yotas there. I believe the 5100 is meant to pair with stock springs. Some have tried aftermarket with varying degrees of success / failure.

Thank you! Two money pits is better than one I guess.

Thats kind of why I posted up, I have seen people talk about coil bind and a rough ride going up to the 2nd notch… So might be best to run the bottom with a couple of Coachbuilder shims.

5100s have a harsh ride especially if above the first notch on the front.

Any updates on this? Heavily considering going this route but I’d like to hear more long term feedback, I’m curious about what tire sizes with wheel offset you chose if possible. Thanks!
