I know I know, it’s the TRD Skid Plate for our 4Runner. BUT, it looks so good I’m totally doing this to my Tundra Skid plate. Powder coated flat black just picked it up and looks better than expected. DD581BD2-229E-41FC-86D1-A05EEC8F864E.jpg

I would line-x it if it was going offroad at all.

Line X is too grippy for a skid plate. It'd be more likely to hang up on rocks and such. Too much plate, not enough skid.

    OP, that looks fantastic!

Its for the wife’s rig. No off-roading really outside of forest service camp roads and snowboarding. Will definitely look into that when I bring the Tundra skid plate in. Appreciate it.

Thank you. Wasn’t sure how it would turn out. It’s MGM 4Runner so figured the black skid plate would blend nicely with the soon to be installed Black TRD grill. I’m blacking out my new (for me,2017) Tundra Platinum and looking to do the same seeing how this turned out.
