Black window trim - glossy vs matte

This is a question I thought I'd never be asking, does anyone have pics of their black trim in matte or gloss for comparison? Seems like gloss is 2x the price... Both are wildly overpriced.

personally I think gloss looks 2x better so i went with gloss. Matte looks cheap and doesnt blend with the windows. My 1794 also has been gloss blacked out

 

I dumped the chrome and went with the matte finish,my apologies for the pictures they aren't the best and it's kinda dark out so I had these kicking around hope it helps.

Here for the pics. Next best thing would be going to the dealer to see them side by side, but not everyone has a local dealer and not every dealer has a variety of inventory.

Yeah I think gloss is the way to go, unfortunately. Anyone find something less than ~$600?

 

I can sell the chrome set for $200 absolutely nothing wrong with them,well there chrome

 

trying to replace mine, no need for another set of those things!

 

How’d you handle the 1794 badge/strip across your doors?

 

I ended up installing the matte. Here's an observation. The chrome molding that came with my limited is significantly higher quality than the matte trim. The matte trim doesn't perfectly follow the contours of the window. The chrome was actual metal, the matte is plastic. I may have the chrome pieces painted matte and reinstall them.
