I used RC loaded struts +3.5 to lift the front and need to get the rear to at least level. Which is better blocks or longer shackles?

    Too many, but not enough....
Are you planning on offroading at all? How much of a lift are you looking for in the back?

    Alot of them
Longer shackles. Toytecs are 1 or 1.5. Blocks ride rough and you definitely don't want to offroad with them.

Shackles will reduce spring rate so keep that in mind if you plan on towing/hauling much.

Blocks are not preferred, ride hard, will eventually cause leafs to wear/sag. Shackles are much better ride, but also can degrade leafs over time and our toyota leafs are pretty soft. Shackles are better than block or add a leaf however for ride.

If you tow/haul, check out RAS, will lift the rear about an inch, help support the toyota leafs, reduce /stop sag when towing and hauling and no bad impact to ride.

And most need a carrier bearing drop with any lift in the rear.

As with any mod, how you use your truck will determine what is best for you.

Need more info: how much lift do you need to level out the rear?

To figure out how much lift you want for the rear, while the truck is on level ground, measure from the hub of the wheel to the bottom of the fender on all 4 corners, then post that info, that'll tell you how much lift you need in the rear to level out or come close.

I'd stay away from blocks as they're rough, but also cause axle wrap, which is when the rear axle rotates forward or backward due to acceleration, blocks can make that issue a lot worse

It’s pretty much a pavement princess but if I do it won’t be anything extreme.
I’d like to get the rear to at least level or maybe even put a little bit of rake back in it.

If your looking at 1 or 2 inches and no offroading, the blocks would work, that size blocks are small enough where you wouldnt get the issues that are associated with blocks, like axle wrap and bad ride and stuff.

I did some coachbuilder shackles and roadmaster suspension for my 2 inches.

I appreciate everyone’s input. I’ve decided on the Coachbuilder +3” shackles as they’ll get the rear slightly higher than the front with +1.75 of lift and their shackles come with the Carrier bearing drop kit.
