So, as a birthday gift, the wife and I did some offroading on a new trail system I found on the VA/WV border in the George Washington National Forest. It's west of Harrisonburg, VA on the western ridge of the Shenandoah Valley. Truly great trails that were wide enough for my rig, so no scratches. Absolutely beautiful country just north of where I grew up. We had a blast, met some fellow Toyota enthusiasts, and just spent the day exploring. There are alot more trails to check out, so I'll be returning as soon as I can. I highly recommend it if you're ever in that neck of the woods.20200314_121337.jpg 20200314_122901.jpg 20200314_124135.jpg 20200314_123601.jpg IMG_3846.jpg

It's a great roof rack made by Eckstrom Designs in Utah. Very well built.

Nice. I used to take my Tacoma wheeling in the GWNF. KTM as well. Went to school in Harrisonburg. Absolutely beautiful.

    Which system is this?

I have a link that gives directions to Flagpole Knob, but there are other trails that branch out from this trail. I just used Google Maps to stay on the trail. Here's the link. I also checked on the Forest Service website. They have info as well

It's the trail to Flagpole Knob. It's basically just south of 33 as it crosses the ridge. You can do a big loop from 33 and back.

Looks fun. Seems like it would be ok for a stock truck.

I used to run several trails up there, lee or peddlar district I think- taskers gap, peter mill run were two.....not been there in years and ran those trails with Jeeps and mid size suvs. They would probably be pretty tight for a Tundra. They also had some areas that could give a stock Tundra trouble.
