Well, she is finally here! Ordered in December and luckily didn't get held up in QC. I guess that was faster than some others.

Originally wanted a Limited with options, but after seeing a 1794 with saddle tan interior I changed my mind. All my local dealers have silver, white, or black trucks with AVS and shortbeds, none of which I wanted. So I just searched nationwide and got lucky to find a TRD OR with 6.5 foot bed and I put down the deposit with Brewer Airport Toyota and waited.

The Blueprint is beautiful and hard to describe, but the light changes it from midnight to blue to purple-ish, so it feels like you have a different paintjob.

I don't mind the chrome on this color and actually dislike the TRD OR wheels so am looking for the oem 1794 polished aluminum version to tie it together. I know I'll get flamed from the TRD purists.

I put on a J&L oil separator immediately, there ain't much room to get to the PCV hose if you have any meat on your bones. ;-) I got 19 mpg on the 500 mile roadtrip home and was pleased with the ride. I had no road noise, draft, creaks, etc that some have reported.

The 14" screen lends itself really well to my Carlinkit Tbox Plus AI box, and in split screen mode (2/3 + 1/3) you have a nice sized video screen plus maps in view.

Got a Truxedo Trusport tonneau really cheap on Amazon, error on their site for the mislabeled Sentry CT that continues to get returned, so the open boxes are only $150ish.

I don't have much planned for mods yet, just level and tires after I can find the wheels.

Look forward to sharing and learning on this forum with you.

    Updated Mods List:
    - J&L catch can
    - Carlinkit Tbox Plus AI box (8+128 GB, Android 12)
    - Truxedo Transport tonneau
    - TuffSkinz drive mode tri-color logo
    - Front window tint - SunTek Carbon 25%
    - Galaxy Auto Shield windshield shade
    - 1794 polished aluminum wheels

    Coming Soon:
    - 275/65r20 Milestar Patagonia AT R
    - Cornfed 1.5" collar front, 1" spacer rear

Posting a message here until I get enough posts to publish in Marketplace, hope that's not against rules.

Want to Trade: TRD OR wheels/Falken AT3 265/60r20 for OEM 1794 (or Want to Buy Them)

I just took delivery of my 1794 TRD OR and I really prefer the OEM 1794 polished aluminum wheels.

Perfect condition, 1500 miles on them, now.
I would be getting new tires so if you just have wheels, that's ok and preferred.
TPMS are in mine, I'll leave them in if yours are also installed. Otherwise I'll remove to swap over.

Your wheels, tires (in similar condition), lugs + $600 for my wheels, tires, lugs
    or
Your wheels, lugs + $1000 for my wheels, tires, lugs

I’m in Upstate, South Carolina and would need to be local(ish). No shipping. Let me know if any interest.

    Falken Wildpeak AT3 112H 265/65/20
20" TRD off road wheels/center cap and black lugs

If no trade, I am looking to buy a set of OEM 1794 20s.

    Thanks!

Good afternoon, nice truck you have there, great color!

Are you saying someone, with the polished 1794 wheels you're looking for, would pay you $600 to do an even swap w/ current tires installed? Or $1000 + wheels w/no tires?
I ask because I am interested in changing out my 1794 wheels for gloss black ones. Not particularly looking for the TRD OR wheels but if the opportunity for an even trade, no extra cash, presents itself then I may entertain it.
Located in Texas though, shipping would be required, would only want to do wheels/lug nuts. Would go to local tire store and ask for throw away boxes, relabel and drop at FedEx. Would also take off TPMS sensor only, leave valve stem, to alleviate possibility of damage.

If shipping your wheels or trading even isn't something your looking to do, I'll sell you mine w/ lug nuts for $1500 shipped to your doorstep. Open to reasonable offer.

Hey @Pat80608, yes that is the idea based on trade value of each. I have a few local options under $1000 that I'm considering. I think shipping would kill potential deal, unfortunately.

thank you @2017TundraNC I'm glad we could do the swap. Both trucks look better IMHO! :)

Very easy TPMS reset on these trucks. Just navigate to Vehicle Settings - TPWS - select Identify each wheel and position. Drive for about 10-15 minutes and viola, it recognized the OEM sensors from donor wheels.

it looks good, but with the expanded turning radius on gen 3 plus the long bed this thing takes some getting used to in tight spots! it's a little clumsy in that regard but i still like the utility

Forgot to post, I got the front windows tinted to match. SunTek Carbon 25% matches perfect with rear when looking out. But from the outside it appears a little lighter due to light coming in the front windshield. We'll see how it does in the SC summer, I may layer up SunTek CIR Ceramic tint: 70% windshield/sunroof and 50% added to the side/back windows which will get those to ~10% for max heat prevention.

And a cheap windshield sun shade from Amazon that fits perfect and tucks into the A pillar and top edge to hold itself in place without the need for sun visors. I have the factory dashcam and this fits great with that too.

    I got my tires installed Milestar Patagonia A/T R 275/65r20 (34”)

I don’t have any suspension changes and there is no rubbing at all on-road.

The tires are noticeably heavier and little bumps in my route are rougher for sure. Not enough miles yet to evaluate mileage hit, has been at 18.3 mpg through 2000 miles.

Truck looks better in person though. Picture doesn’t really show big difference. Will prob keep like this for a little bit before leveling so I have a baseline with just the tires.
