Bought Headlight Experts LED headlights - big mistake. Do the Auxbeam NF-S1 work well for others?

Modified the boots for install (per Headlight Experts), so I need to get a new, and pricey set of boots (unless someone has an unused set they will part with cheap ;-) ).

The beam pattern SUCKS and, if possible, lights the road even less than stock. Yes, they are clocked as recommended. I do not recommend Headlight Experts' $100 bulbs. I have replaced stock with Cougar Motors LED in all our other 'yotas, and have been very pleased.

Anyone else had good results with Auxbeam headlights (H4, gen3)?

The Vleds Micros have a great beam pattern. I had them in my 2013. They are designed for use in the halogen reflector housings.

 

Thanks. I am worried that gen2 may be different. The leds I have in suck worse than the stock.

I'm running Auxbeams. I'm liking them so far, nice for the price. What boots are you looking for? If we are on the same page, I may have another set available. I'll have to check this evening when I get back home though.
