Let me know what year and I’ll look in the wiring diagram.
Vehicle before aug 2017 there are actually two fuses. There is a 40A fuse in the engine compartment marked TOW BRK and a 7.5A fuse #1 in the interior fuse box marked ECU-IG
After aug 2017. 30A fuse same place and a 5A #2 in the interior fuse box marked ECU-IG1

It is a 2016 - I checked both slot 1 and 2 (both 7.5 amp) and both were good. Also found the 40 amp - also good.

I get no response from the controller (does not show up in sequence of screens when hit Disp)

Connection seems good - I cleaned the contacts.

If you slide the Manual electric brake lever - should there be 12v to the truck 7 pin plug connector for electric brakes?

    Could my controller be bad?

Not too versed on the controller I’ll ask one of the other guys in the shop tomorrow. It should be the truck isn’t that old. Did it work before or is this the first time you’ve tried it?
