I'm coming up on 48k, so brake replacement is eminent. I snagged these Adaptive one performance rotors at Napa. Always had good luck with OEM but figured i would try these. Couple hundo more than OEM. Anybody have any experience with these.

I have used the Adaptive One pads on a 1st Gen Tundra, and they worked well.

No experience with the rotors, but I'm sure they are good quality.

Last I heard, NAPA is on the higher end. I wouldn't use anything from Autozone (and I mean anything), maybe O'Reily, and more likely NAPA.

I have both on my truck now, pads and rotors. Both front and back. Work well for me. I also have them on my 2002 Camry. Never a problem.

I used Napa pads and rotors on my Tacoma - they are solid. Handed it down to my daughter and they are still performing well.

Used to work at Napa when going to be community college years ago. Adaptive One brakes were very good quality and held up! I’d recommend them for sure.

I have these in mine. They were on the truck when I purchased it at 42k miles and I’m now at 59k with some decent towing and every time I check them at rotations they don’t seem to have worn much. They seem pretty good. Under a lot of sustained heavy braking I notice a slight vibration in the pedal (not like warped rotors though) which goes away once they cool back down. I’m assuming it may be related to the slots.

I might try some of these, got my truck in Dec/22 and the rotor hubs are very rusty, bit of pulsating. Probably do them when I swap to summer tires in the next month or so

Used them on a car that I no longer own, but had them for at least a year. No issues.

I'm going to have to do brakes in the next 5 -10k and been thinking about trying those. My biggest concern is can the rotors be turned if they warp that and the price is kind of high. But will be on the look out for a good coupon.

OEMs are better and worth the cost. IMO.

Always had good luck with OEM, trying something different here! These cost a little more than OEM.

yeah, sharing that I did same…thought the OEMs that I got 70K miles out of weren’t good enough…went with a power stop package…they suck…slotted rotors and all…have to be hot to work and even then they don’t stop as well. Just not worth the coin.

My best advice is to do something else with that coin.

I bought he adaptive one’s for my 17 double cab and they warped within a week. May have had a bad batch but scared me out of buying them again.

I like oem because i dont have to mess with any bedding procedure. Slap it on and go.

Got about 12k miles out of the pads if I remember correctly, never used the slotted rotors. Ymmv, I haul heavy.

I’ve had Napa rotors on for 20,000km now and going strong. They’re just blanks, not slotted or anything though. My mechanic advised against Napa pads though. Too many people coming back saying they squeak/ squeal. Using Bosch pads on Napa rotors, smooth as silk, and never once made a squeak or anything.

About 14k in now with the Napas. So far so good.

I put the NAPA Adaptive One wiggly rotors and matching pads on several months ago and I’ve been happy.

We have an in house NAPA store at my work and you guys would kill me if you knew what I got these front rotors and pads for on my Tundra. Getting NAPA parts at cost is going to spoil me.

That said, they seem like a very small, probably just placebo effect, upgrade over OEM but I appreciate that they have a good warranty for any future warping issues. My original rotors and pads made it 50k before warping.
