Yeah, I'm actually having a hard time finding any that will go on the 3rd generation and are full sized bumper/grille guard at all. Those I do find cover up the cameras and such. Let me know if you find anything.

Not much out there you can install without at least a little cutting. The "covert" bumpers from CBI, Fab Fours, Western, and Victory 4x4 are going to be the least "invasive" when it comes to cutting.

    Victory 4x4: https://www.victory4x4.com/product/...6Xcc0BVcTmqtWaxBco4sYuQYfIX6Ko-4aAl5TEALw_wcB

    Fab Fours: https://fabfours.com/product/toyota-tundra-hidden-winch-mount/

I went with the CBI Off-road Baja Front Bumper and I'm supposed to get it sometime this month, but that one involves a whole lot of cutting.

Thanks for the info! That's really helpful. The CBI seems like a good choice as well. I don't mind cutting as much as OP does, just trying to find one that won't obstruct the view of the camera and still looks decent. Do you think the baja will block your front facing camera at all? I just hate to spend so much money on a vehicle like this and then take away some of the functionality with a different bumper.

I’m installing the TRD Pro grille at the same time and that has the camera at a lower location than the normal grille. There are also camera relocation brackets you can get to move the camera down so it’s not blocked by the bar.

Really? That changes everything! I'm really new to trucks (I just ordered my 2024 platinum, should be getting it next month according to the dealer), so I really don't know anything about doing mods to trucks. I'm not really into doing a lot of off-road, but I live in a quadraped rich environment, and would like to spend money up front on a steel bumper rather than later with replacing all sorts of damage when I hit a moose or an elk or a cow or something driving at 2AM. Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.

No problem. Get yourself a TRD Pro grille and the camera relocation bracket and the camera will sit below the bar on the CBI Baja bumper. The grille also looks a lot better in my opinion and is an easy swap during the bumper install because you have to take the full front bumper/grille assembly off during the install anyway. There are some good install videos for the CBI bumper that show you.

Just note, if you go with the TRD Pro grille I wouldn't waste any money on putting a light bar in the spot built into that grille. That light bar in the grille will sit right behind the bar on the CBI bumper so not very effective. If you want a lot of light just get a 30" led light bar to install in the bumper itself, it's designed for it.

True. But the others require cutting/modifying which op asked for bumpers he wouldn’t have to do that.

he also didn’t specify if he wanted a winch, or anything else. Only thing he said he wanted was no cutting. lol.

Here's another question, since you seem to know far more about this than I do. I imagine this is a basic question, but when you replace a factory bumper with a large steel bumper like this, does it screw up the triggers for the airbags on the vehicle? Or is there a solution/rig for that?

I don't actually know what type of sensor(s) they use to trigger the airbags for a front impact or where exactly they are located. That being said, I've good amount of research on multiple options for the front bumper that required fairly extensive cutting and the removal of the factory aluminum crash bar (under the front bumper cover), during all of those install videos and reading through the instructions there is nothing that I've seen that gets touched related to airbag sensors so I'm assuming it's a non-issue.

If I had to guess the airbags are probably triggered by an accelerometer type of sensor rather than a direct impact sensor, or possibly a combination of the two. Either way, if there are impact sensors they must be further inside the engine compartment because there aren't any mounted to the front bumper cover & grille section based on everything I've seen.

I would like to believe that anyone selling an aftermarket part that would affect the airbags, would make that VERY clear. I actually doubt that any reputable company would sell something that did that though, the potential liability they would be exposing themselves to would be massive.

All of them require cutting to get any sort of clearance, even the piddly little center mounts. FYI my c4 full coverage had full clear camera view minus the LP6 lights and it’s still enough to navigate tight spaces and parking

Do you lose air dam functionality with this?

Do you not require a front plate where you live? I like the C4, but worry that if I run a fairlead plate adapter the plate will sit too low. Looks great on you truck!

C4 sells a kit for the front plate mount, I just didnt order it (thought my old one would fit and it didnt). Tried a few Amazon ones and no dice.

I ended up gluing magnets to my front plate and sticking it on below the drivers side tow hook mount and ran a black zip tie through it for safety- no issues for months now

license plate. some states are chill and some are not.... idaho is real hit or miss and my wife got pulled over a few months ago for hers being MIA... modified mine to work

I believe the air damn still functions with the CBI Off-road Baja bumper.

Loving every bit of it! Still wish I had gotten LP9's.. and wish my old ONX6 highpower would have fit in the bumper cut out but oh well!
