I just received my sets of wheelers 01superbumpkit for my 2015 tundra. These things are huge. I attached pics of the original and the new ones just set in place. I have to jack the truck up to get them on. For anyone who has these on their trucks, are they supposed to sit in the LCA the entire time like in the picture? Just want to make sure before I install them. Thanks. A708F1DC-0C72-4A0B-802A-BBE5DBFFB736.jpg9A1490D9-CB7F-4FEE-A36E-6D4164FCA037.jpg

Depends on how much you have your coilovers cranked if the gonna touch or not. And if its touching will be fine.

They do work for stock ride height but they are very close to always being in contact with the LCA. I had them on my truck at stock ride height. They worked but it did stiffen up the ride. It cornered better LOL but it was a much harsher ride driving down the road. I have since lifted the front of my truck 2 inchesWith the pro suspension. I kept the stops on for a while.Recently I removed them and put the stock ones back on. I could tell it was still coming into contact and not letting me experience my new shocks as well. In my opinion they would be better suited for someone in the 3 inch or 4 inch lift range.

They do help a lot and a bottom out situation. They are not harsh in that aspect.

They’re touching already. I wedged the bump stop in. This is how the coil overs are set. Passenger then driver side4E62D598-AE97-4CC4-99C7-02914D647909.jpg28F9C790-810C-4B30-BE56-D9505673CBA5.jpg

    Im at 3" with space.

    Distance will be lift dependant.

That’s weird. I had a small gap at stock hight.

The suspension more than likely settled and need to adjust the coil overs. Great. Another alignment.

I was thinking the same. But every truck different. I run one spacer under mine also and still have a gap.

On my wife's 4runner I have 2.5 lift up front and have a small gap with the super bumps on there.

Damn. Ok. I’ll have to deal with it on Sunday morning if I want to keep these. Was looking forward to putting them on my truck. Thanks everyone for the info. I appreciate it.

I just looked at your pic again, that's not where I put them, same angle on mine:

    IMG_0252.jpg

They'd probably have contact up there, mine are behind.

It looks like your superbumps are installed at the front location. Try replacing the rear bumpstops instead of the fronts.

I guess there should be another question to ask. For those of you who have the same king setup, how many threads do you have showing and at what point will it be too much and my ride gets worse?Right now it drives great. As a heads up. After putting like 2000 miles or more on the new Kings, they have never been adjusted since the initial install. So definitely settled like a 1/2” from my measurements.

Are they only supposed to be on one side? Not replace all four? Let me try that. I tried to replace the front set.

No, you only need to replace 2, usually the ones behind

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news....but Kings are notorious for their coils being garbage and clapping out.

With that said, its pretty darn close to a 2 - 1 radio, curious what your distance measures in regards to the threads showing.

So far the shocks have been great, but only time will tell. I don’t abuse the suspension when I wheel. I’m sure I could go faster and harder, but I don’t like dealing with the truck being down for repairs. So slow and steady for me. As for the measurements I measured 24 1/4” from center of hub to fender on passenger and 24” on the driver. I initially had them both at 24 1/2” when I initially installed them and aligned.

stock King on passenger (7 or 8 I think) and 12 threads on driver to compensate for lean.

Thanks. Let me try the rear ones. Well. Looks like I have an extra set cause I figured I was supposed to replace all of them.
