With the pricing very similar, Im wondering which one is preferred. Both have beefy brackets and seem to be of good quality. Is it just a coin toss? The Caliraised seems to have a more involved install with removing the bumper according to the install video on Youtube.

I don’t think caliraised offers a 30in only a 32in. Depending on where you mount it that may be a concern.

I originally bought a rough country 30 for my demello bumper and it ended up not fitting my cutout. It was about 1/4 in too wide. If your mounts are adjustable it should be an issue. I ended up using the rough country in my wife 4runner and so far have been pretty happy with it. Super easy install. Complete harness with relays is included and you can Just plug and play if you want to stick with the switch they provide. The drl feature is pretty cool too.
can’t speak on the caliraised unit unfortunately but hope that helps

    Function before sparkle.
I have the Caliraised in my lower bumper. Very bright, good beam pattern and solid build, but I need it to go through a winter before I can recommend it for northerners. Install was a pain but it’s solid as a rock.

Based on my experience so far the light pattern isn’t as good as the much more expensive brands, but the cost benefit ratio makes it a great choice.

The install is what is keeping me from the Caliraised. Their 5 minute install vid on YouTube is lackluster at best. They removed the bumper to install it which seems a bit excessive after seeing the Diode Dynamics install vid. I guess it all comes down to what the bracket design is.

If money was no issue, I’d go with Rigid but it’s just not practical for my application. I read a thread about lightbars and someone had some moisture issues and then got a little bit of a run around from RC when it came to a warranty claim. Maybe I’ll bump up my budget a little bit and check out the Diode Dynamics offerings.
