Camelback Toyota parts

For those not aware already. Camelback Toyota went to Revolution parts. The same company Sparks is.

Prices are pretty close with Camelback being slightly higher. But close enough, that once shipping is factored. You end up not spending near as much by picking up your parts in whatever you use for an econobox if you are in the Valley (or Basin for those folk).

Not attempting to advertise for them in any way. Customer service has not been the best. They are always polite and happy to help you when you get to them. They are overworked from what I've seen in 3 visits.

I have found you have to keep on them a bit. They often fail to send email out at the right time to tell you the part has arrived in house (Revolution told you it arrived anyway). The parts guy doesn't yet know its in house and processed it to be ready for my will call. But its here local, and I can show up at the parts counter.

Other experiences?

2 examples here. 2.5 TRD Pro headlights & a Scion Xb drip rail.

 

Is pickup in back by the washing/used car sales picture area or back inside at the parts desk?

Seems like over the last 2 years every time I go it's the place I don't go first.

First time it was in the back, behind the no one goes there fence, with the tent and car detailing area. now its in the back with the sale people, at the traditional parts desk...

OR was the last time I went a couple weeks ago.

I have defaulted to just pulling up and disappointing the first salesman I see with an ask for the parts counter.

 

It has bounced back & forth for years, kinda crazy.

As an aside, https://autoparts.serratoyota.com/ uses the same system, is similarly close to the lowest prices, offers free over 75.00 shipping & has not charged tax to Az.

 

Berge Toyota tried charging me $17 per spark plug, msrp was $5 something.

 

Bell road Toyota has tried charging me MSRP for everything I have asked about there. I stopped checking with them.

 

They have to pay for 1000 commercials a day with the hot girl, they do say they are different.

Anyone been to pick up parts lately? I need to go & prefer not to go to the wrong place again. (in back or at the counter OR is there a new place?) lol

 

Few weeks ago it was in the back at the parts counter. like if you pulled into the side off of 16th street instead of the front on Camelback. Near that entrance to the lot.

Toyota Nation is my go to, best prices and close to home

 

no inside the main building now, not back by the big tent.
If you pull in off 16th. at the back side of the building, that is the corner. all the sales guys and such sit in that area.

 

Where is that? This is the 4 bolts to put the OEM front tow hooks on the back of the frame, 13 bucks total, 7 cents per above the lowest price oinline but with shipping this is cheaper, also, they aree near a hole in the wall burger place I like so I get bad for me good food

lol.

 

That is the Auto Nation at I-10 and Elliot Rd, obviously the Toyota dealership. Chad is head of the part counter and tell him you are with Tundras.com

 

Gotcha, they did my invisible to me cam tower leak & pass side u/l control arms on my extended warranty's dime just before it expired in April, it's 37 miles each way from my door. At 12mpg, adios savings. lol

Lucky Boy on 16th

 

Lived in the lofts right across from there when i moved to PHX. Soo many burgers from that joint.
