This looks like a PIA. I would probably just upgrade to a reenforced shell before going that route.

How much weight are you planning on running on top of the shell? Most unreinforced camper shells are rated for 400lbs+ of static load and 250lbs+ of dynamic load. So more than enough for a roof rack full of gear or even a light RTT. ARE shoudn be able to provide you with more accurate load ratings.

That sounds about right, but I'm still concerned with cracking and shifting of the shell over time. I plan on doing some tough off roading.

Unless you're mounting something heavy on it I wouldn't worry about it. My midtravel DC and many others have thousands of hard off-road miles on their shells without any problems

Even though it’s not listed, they do fit the tundra. I took the measurements from the website and measured the bed sides. But if you have bed rails, don’t think they will. I did have to cut some of the overhang of the topper that hangs over on the inside in order to have the bracket as much over the center of the bed side.

Thanks, looking good. I really want to keep my bed rails, I have stuff mounted to them. Pretty certain the Milford won’t work with the bed rails? I thought the Milford could be attached to the bed rails as part of the install

I’m not sure how, it’s basically a C-clamp onto the bed sides.

You could lower the rails but it limits tie down strength and mounting options a little bit. I did it though.
