can a weak battery cause engine light to come on?

    I saw a you tube video where a guy claimed the check engine light, traction and 4 low light started blinking and determined the cause to be a bad battery.
    has anyone else experienced this cause and cure?

    I have seen this in BMWs. Weird air suspension & other computer issues.

    I am a mechanic, never heard of a bad battery causing a CEL on Toyotas, only on piece of shit BMWs, it causes the trans to go into failsafe mode and bunch of other stuff not function.
