Hey everyone! I have a 2013 Crewmax TSS and I'm wanting to lift it with the Readylift SST 4" kit and get some new wheels and tires. The truck came with 20" wheels. Now do I HAVE to have 20" wheels or can i go down to something like 18"? I was told by a store that i needed the 20s. Just wondering if i actually do or not! Any and all info is much appreciated!!

I don't see why couldn't go 18. Have you contacted Discount Tire or a different tire shop?

They just want more of your $$$. Get 18s if that what you want/like.

I talked with people at 4wheel parts in OKC and that's who said I needed 20s.

Aren't the Rock Warrior wheels 17's? I would think as long as you have the stock brake rotor/caliper setup you should be good with 17", 18", 19", 20, etc.. BUT I'm not an expert, just guessing here..

Wouldn't the only thing limiting you from going smaller than 20" be the clearance for the brakes?

I'm not bashing by any means. The majority of my $$$ has been spent @ a 4 Wheel Parts.
However, my last purchase was totally jacked by a sales rep who didn't know his products. All he wanted was a sale. I ended up sending $600 worth of lights back. Now I have a bumper that I'm dropping more $$$ to add some fabrications to.
Had he had his crap straight, he'd have told me: to either go w/ different lights or change the bumper to the other style w/ different mounts.
Don't trust the word of a sales person. Research it. If the brakes and dust cover clear, 18s should be just fine.

But hey, I'm no pro. Just a fellow enthusiast.

I'm thinking the same. I just assume the 20s are part of the TSS package. I think the sales person was just trying to sell me on 20s cause of the $$$

Check the information sticker on the driver's door jamb, it has tire information on it. See if it lists information for 18s.

2013 DC with stock 18" TRD/OR wheels. I'm thinking that salesman didn't know his butt from a hole in the ground.
