Like on a car hauler trailer? Should be fine and long as it's properly secured and such. Pop it in D, hit tow haul, and leave early so you can just cruise at 60-65 for better MPGs and because most trailer tires aren't rated over 65 MPH, and it should be good.

I towed a 2006 Silverado back in 2020 from Wisconsin to Louisiana. The Tundra didn't even know that it was there. I use Tow/Haul and S5 on the gear shifter when towing. You shouldn't have any issues at all.. Probably won't know that the Camry is back there.

Yeah, you'll be fine. Going downhill use S mode to engine break and such, and keep the speeds sane. Your Tundra will drag that car anywhere you want to go with it.

    Yup!
If you can tow a Travel Trailer you can tow a Camry.

Also if you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball!

May just want to monitor your trans temps since there's no cooler on 19-21 trucks. You can usually keeps the temps low by being in 4th or 5th gear and keeping it at 65mph or under. If this is going to be a tow rig for you, you might want to look into adding a cooler.

Put it in Tow/haul mode and S4 and you'll have no problems. Your Tundra won't even know it's there. I towed a 4500+ lb camper 8,000+ miles a while back with my totally stock 2019 and it never missed a beat. I'd budget for 10 mpg. Less if you go above 70mph.

    Oh for shore.

How much does your trailer weigh?

2k trailer (ish) and a 3,500 lb car (ish) and you’re well within reason. Tow all day.

Stop for gas though when you can :D

You'll be fine, like others said tow haul mode, don't forget to set the brake controller if you have trailer brakes & you are good to go..

You shouldn't run into problems with that weight. I've towed a 7,000'sh pound boat all around without issue.

No problem, I towed my Volvo 240 on a flatbed and didn't even know it was back there. I kept thinking some idiot in a 240 like mine was tailgating me! hahah

I would say highly unlikely. Obviously you do not have the ability to look in your owners manual and understand the capacity of the tow vehicle. This leads me to believe you have little to no towing experience and should probably shadow somebody the first couple times you need something towed to understand additional time to stop, turn, and how the tow vehicle handles differently during towing.

The manual, under towing tips on page 210, says to tow in S4. It does not say to shift into it only for going downhill. It also does not say anywhere to tow in D. I wish the manual were clearer, but it seems to me you're supposed to be in S4 at ≤65mph.

    Toyota AB60F transmission gear ratios:
    1st: 3.333
    2nd: 1.960
    3rd: 1.353
    4th: 1.000
    5th: .728
    6th: .588

S4 is your 1:1 gear; 5 and 6 are overdrive gears. The TC will lockup only in 4, 5, or 6, and it really won't want to stay that way under a load in 5 and 6. Going in and out of lockup is what generates heat. Generally speaking, if you're towing a heavy load, especially through hilly terrain, you shouldn't be in overdrive gears...

I found whatever gear it takes to keep engine RPM's about 2400 is the best. Engine isnt lugging and good throttle response. When towing my 5Klb boat at 74 mph this usually means S5.

I've seen a crown victoria tow station wagon on a car trailer one time. You can probably mostly tow a lot of stuff if being careful.

Speaking of careful, look at this guy go:
