Can you resell an OEM Toyota plastic bed liner????

My 2011 Tundra has one, has the Toyota stamp up near the cab wall on the plastic bed liner. Its the longer 6.5' bed, you know the bed you get with the double cab truck.

Anyways, I hate plastic bed liners, want to get rid of it. Your cargo slides around all over the place with these damn things. Really wish the factory had just given you a thick rubber mat to lay on the bed floor, keeps it from getting scratched up and keeps your cargo from sliding around. $90 for one of those from my local custom truck store.

Anyways, is there any sort of demand for these plastic bed liners on the used market?? Mine is an OEM part, still in nice shape.

Let me know, I'd like to make a buck or two reselling this, right now my thought is to remove it, chop it into small pieces so it will fit through the plastic dumpster door at my local recycling place.

Not much demand in SoCal. People put them out at the curb and do a "curb alert" on Craigslist hoping someone will take it so they don't have to deal with disposal. Maybe it depends where you are?

Ya I looked into selling mine but when I had the bedliner sprayed the shop just cut it up and threw it out. Not worth the hassle of selling you’d be luck to get 75$ for it, but will prolly have it laying around for a while before you even find a buyer

Damn lucky you lol on Craigslist in ny I saw them anywhere from 75-125, so after the typical bullshit like I said prolly be lucky to get 75. Could depend on your area. Here in upstate a lot of people ditch the liner for the spray on stuff.

I ended up selling mine for $75 on Craigslist here in Denver. I was about to lower price to $50 but got a phone call. It didn't sell at $75 for almost 6 weeks. Food for thought...

I sold mine pretty quick for $50. I live in a small town where everyone drives Ford/Chevy/dodge. I was pretty surprised.

Most spray in bed liner places one can get them for free.

If someone gave 200.00 for a factory bed liner, I’m hoping they’re in Sales, selling ice to Eskimos.

Every one I've had over the years gets cut up with the circular saw into small pieces then tossed in the recycle bin.

I'm not looking at that thing sitting my yard hoping to get $50.

I'm planning on trying to leave it at the line-x shop if/when I get a spray-in. $50 isn't worth dealing with the craigslist BS to me.

I've sold a lot of stuff on Craig's List besides my liner. Take photos and post them. Maybe 10 minutes to do. Buyer contacts you. Buyer drives up and hands you $$$$$. Buyer take goodies and drives away. Although..having a big ass piece of plastic monstrosity sitting in your driveway or yard for a month can be a game changer..haha

The most bulletproof combo would be LineX with a plastic bedliner and then a rubber mat on top of it.

That’s what I have too. When I was young I thought those plastic liners were so cool. My grandpa had one in his little Mazda pick up and it seemed so indestructible. Other than things sliding around and rust forming underneath, they are a good product.

Well I'm going to put an ad up on craigslist, just roll around with it in my truck until somebody buys it or I get fed up enough to take it out and throw it away.

I have the same. Yanked bed liner as soon as I got my new 2018 home. It is available free for anyone who wants to come over and pick it up. DC, 6.5' bed.

In my experience no. I tried to sell mine from a 2015. Only asked $25 and still no takers. I've talked to spray in liner shops and they throw them away all the time.

You could get lucky and find a buyer but its not likely.

My local Ford dealer had a Tundra on their lot that didn't have a liner so they gave me an $80 credit toward tires for my wife's CR-V. I was just happy to get it out of my shed.

My truck didn't have one when I bought it. I've looked on Craig's list but to be honest the ones I've seen have been in the $75 range and it's not worth my time to drive and pay that much. I figured I would just call the places that spray liners in and leave my phone number if they are willing to take $25 for a used one that they otherwise would cut up.
