    Hello!

I've got a 2021 Toyota Tundra, but its one of those fancy pants Canadian models, given I'm here in... Canada, if you didn't already know these Canadian models are very close to a parts bin kind of truck, its a base model for Canada, with TRD offroad premium, I've got leather seats, sun roof, BSM, lane assist, car play etc... all factory but here lays the problem.

It's got heated seats, but they are absolutely useless as you are about to read about, the options to control them include such great features as ON and OFF, L (driver) and R (Passenger) this really wouldn't be a problem if they got hot on a linear scale, but they get warm / barely warm majority of the time and very very rarely warm/hot.

I've seen in the other trims of tundra, the heated seats have an option for high and low, has anyone popped the switch's out and looked behind if they are swappable, it's a nice -20c here right now and we're all iced in, I assume I'll be stuck in the summer taking the switch's out and looking but maybe one of the fine folks reading this might have some insight.

Not sure this will help. Pic of controls in my 21 1794, US model. Pushing the heat buttons toggles through 3 heat levels, those show on display just above buttons. I wonder if wiring is similar behind dash.

Many thanks, that looks like much more effort than I originally thought, looks like a whole different trim piece, more so same piece but totally new buttons, seems I have to find some wiring diagrams.

Mine get plenty hot for me. Any chance you have a loose wire or an intermittent short or something?

There was discussion about this in another thread I was watching... I'll see if I can find it. I too have a '21 Canadian truck with the heated seats. I wanted to relocate the switch. I think if I recall correctly people were changing the switch to another style of switch with a dial or adjustment that fit our switch blanks.

Have you been in a tundra with the adjustable level heated seats or any 1999+ Volkswagen golf with heated seats, that's the quick heat and level of heat I want. I've tried checking connections under the seat and what wires I can, with no issues found so far.

Nice, yes I did read this, I'll order some different switch's and take mine apart this summer, hoping some splicing and it'll be good.
