New member first post. I have a new to me 2014 CM SR5, just installed leveling kit yesterday and I could not get drivers side caster in spec (+.06) best I could get but camber was perfect 0 when sitting in drivers seat, I had to bring passenger side as low as I could get it (+2.4), surprisingly truck actually drove pretty good in the right hand lane and just a slight pull in left hand lane, will new UCA arms possibly get me back to somewhat decent caster measurements, I’m in the market for new tires but don’t want them to eat up because of this issue, thanks for your help.

That would be were I start. I just went threw this battle. Stocks didn't work. Switched to jba. Those gave me the castor but took from my camber now I got fully adjustable icons and everything is aligned how it should be. There pricy but I reccomend getting fully adjustable the first time. I tried the cheaper route and lost alot of money removing re aligning and so on..20200303_115839.jpg

Dang I was really trying to avoid this, just curious how could the passenger side measurements be so good and the drivers side so terrible ?

Luck of the draw. That’s why it is adjustable. Aftermarket upper arms are designed to get your caster and camber back. I have a set of camburgs I’m looking to part with.

Bilstein 6112/5160, 3 CB front shims, SPC UCA's, CB +3 rear Shackles, total 3/2 lift, Dif drop, CB Carrier bearing drop, Fortin Evo One remote start from Tech12volts PnP, AMP research Powersteps PnP, Vent shades, Tinted windows, Black/Red lined cupholder inserts, Proclip USA dash phone mount with Scosche Magic Mount wireless magnetic phone charger, Stock wheels/tires for now.
    Get you some SPC UCA'S.
No need to spend crazy money on UCA's unless you do serious offroading.
Got my alignment to almost exact specs from Socals thread.

Truck drives like a dream now, and no fear of my tires getting ruined prematurely.

At anything over 2.5in front lift, UCA'S are basically required if you want to get full life from your tires.

Yes I just installed those 2 Sundays ago.
    They are SPC UCA'S.

But not the newest ones and they sent me 1 side with greasable ball joint, and the other side with a sealed one.

I would spend the extra money getting them from a real SPC vendor if I could do it again. Rockauto is also less then unhelpful. They suck ass.

The UCA'S seem real good though, got my alignment spot on Socals specs basically.

Call ToyTec to see what kind of a forum discount may be on a set of Colorado made SPC UCA's. As already mentioned they are adjustable.....

So before you installed the rock auto ones your alignment was pretty bad off ? But it did correct the issue though, right ?

Yeah on paper it won’t eat tires but if your truck is pulling to one side because of a caster issue and you constantly have to hold the steering wheel to compensate for that pull then it’s indefinitely gonna eat at your tires

Caster shouldn't eat tires and shouldn't cause you to have to fight the wheel to keep driving straight. If your caster is lower than spec, it will be most noticeable in decreased steering response, and a slower "return to center" of the steering wheel after a turn.

OP - yeah, you should just bite the bullet and get UCAs. If you don't you're going to be wishing you did until you do.

Darren @BOSS4x4s will beat anyone's price on anything you need. I bought some SPC UCAs from him along with plenty of other gear... he's the best

Looks like you have a bracket lift your situation is different than his most control arm's are meant to be used with leveling kits that's why you couldn't get the camber you needed with the JBA arms

I have the bds kit. It does have drop bracket but it comes with taller spindles to bring it back to stock angles. Technically I only have the same angles as a 2-3 inch lift. I contacted jba and that was what they assured me on as well. Yet once installed I had 2 shops try and align with no luck.. its not the case for all but in mine it didn't work.
But I would be more confident having them work with a leveling kit for sure
