I hope this helps somebody as it’s taken me a while to finally find an exact color match for my truck. As luck would have it though, now that I’ve found the vinyl I don’t want to color match said parts. Thought I would share anyhow.

I ordered a sample vinyl from rvinyl directly at the following:

TVD has a whole section for matching the Toyota colors with the Oracle vinyl. He used Indigo Blue 544 for his Cavalry blue and from posts on this forum, it seems spot on. Might be worth getting a sample to see how it compares to that Shadow Blue.

    https://www.rvinyl.com/ORACAL-970RA-Indigo-Blue-544-Premium-Wrapping-Cast-Film

Depending what you are wrapping, that Shadow Blue looks like it would be a little darker/deeper in color. If doing mirrors or interior parts, wouldn't matter. But it might be more noticeable then expected if you wrapped the hood bulge or door handles.

Re-reading your post. I see you are not proceeding with your wrap. My above statement can be for anyone else who comes across your post.

That blue looks more rich than cavalry blue. A deeper hue of blue, but all these colors seem to look different to different people. I still think the shadow blue is closer in match, it’s just hard to photograph.

Its also hard with a small sample. I just wanted to share what others have used to match their Cav so you had something else to consider or compare to.

Hello Ceezurin, I'd like to wrap my truck with Cavalry blue vinyl, current colour is white. Wondering if I can use 3M-180mC-177 to wrap the entire exterior. Shop says this is not a colour offer as an automotive wrap film. Please let me know your thoughts.

This is not a wrap vinyl. It's for cutting stickers and signage.

I wish it (shadow blue) was because it seems closer than anything currently on the market. Cheetah Wrap made an exact match but no longer produces it. Oracal Indigo Blue doesn't really seem to match too well. Any ideas would be appreciated. I was thinking if I can't find a good match for Cavalry Blue I would maybe wrap the chrome in a matte or satin gunmetal. Black makes the truck look like a work truck imo.
