So this chromed and silver surround around the shifter and the cup holder reflects the sunlight directly into my eyes while driving. Even with sunglasses, the chrome bits are brutal on the eyes.

Has anyone experienced this? Has anyone found a good quality replacement that is black or some other dark/non-reflective finish? I would rather replace than take these off and paint them.

    Thanks!

If you want a tacticool look, AJT designs makes a black version for both. Otherwise, you'll need to remove and paint it yourself.

Both pieces pop right off. Quick clean and scuff. Adhesion promoter and SEM trim black make it look real nice.

As stated, you can either get cover pieces or just paint. Not difficult to paint them.

Edit: realize you stated you didn't want to paint. From what I've seen about the AJT reviews, you still have to disassemble and drill for the shifter surround, I think painting would be easier but that us up to you.

Edit 2: I used SEM trim paint in their charcoal metallic, pretty much matches the trim piece on the dash that isn't black or light gray.
