    Hi all!

Just bought myself a Tundra (2007 4.7L) and a week later I shut it down and turn it back on to this array of lights. Would this indicate an injection pump failure, and would the best solution to be just bypass the system entirely?

Why would the injection pump affect the VSC and traction control systems?

Cheers and thanks for the help!

It is a common issue on every car that I can think of with an air pump system. On the tundra either the pump goes out or one of the valves sticks. You can either fix it and maybe be back into it again in the future; or buy the Hewitt bypass kit and never have to mess with it again. This is assuming that you live in a non-emissions testing location. If you are, it could be an issue and somebody else might have to chime in with more information.

I'm not sure why the other lights come on. I'd guess that those functions are disabled when the air pump system goes down since it also goes into limp mode. Is your truck also in limp mode? I wouldn't recommend to continued driving it until it's repaired if it is.

The truck has not gone into limp mode yet, I've been able to clear the code if I wait a minute or two after starting and the code will stay gone until next startup.
I've been looking at the hewitt bypass kit. They've got the V54H for 2008-2009 and the V36H for 2005-2007. I'm assuming I need the V36H, the only hesitation I have is that two of those model years are the old body style and 2007 has the new body style? Why doesnt the V54H cover the 2007 new body style?

I think I'll also need a valve solenoid pack from hewitt as well to clear the P0412 code as well?

Cheers thanks very much for the help!

I am not fimiliar with the 4.7 kit. I did the gen2 hewitt kit on my 5.7 and have has no issues since. He is a good guy I would contact him and he can tell you which one to use.
