    Hi all,
I just purchased a 2020 crew max and am trying to figure out how to attach the top tether from the forward facing convertible to the top latch on the back of the seat. The diagram shows threading the car seat tether through the loop on top of the seat then attaching it to the neighboring loop. This seems counterintuitive. There are also metal hooks on the top of each seat. I have 3 kids/seats, so I’m wondering if it is ok to use the metal latch on top of each seat or if it is safer to use the fabric loop on top of each seat. Thanks for any help!

It's easy to attach. I was on the same boat as you and confused with one seat but then figured it out. I just don't understand why you cant strap to the latch behind the seat where you have the seat. I'll post up pics of how I have our seat set up for you in a min.

90CC8886-ADAC-4D01-BFFF-B177406C8D9F.jpg It’s highly counterintuitive. I spent a few hours with it the first time I installed the seats. I have two car seats and mines a double cab but they say this is correct...

Here's the pics I just snapped of the seat strap.

I have that belt/latch running thru the 1st loop hole and over to the middle strap.IMG_20201002_125629.jpg
Then I fasten it to the middle seat and pull the snot out of it and make sure the lower brackets are strapped in good as well. Hope it helps I know you said you have 3.

Thanks a ton guys. I really wanted to just clip them to the metal hooks on the tops of seats, but manual says to do it way you guys have it. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t misinterpreting it!
