Hey guys, I'm a broke dude that was thinking of doing what the 4rnr guys are doing to their front bumper. Has any one done this? I want to fit 37s on my 0 offset wheels. Think I can also add the bumper shims if I needed more space and I already have a BMC done.... forgive my photo editing skills, lol!20200102_082347.jpg 20200102_080815.jpg

Haven’t seen it, but anything is possible. What about the rear of the wheel well? Mine gets closer there. You might need to do the CMC.

I already have a cmc/bmc done, I guess I should've said that, lol. I don't think these back will be an issue. I think I've seen 37s back there with no lift...

Call me crazy, but I thought the guys that squeezed in 37s are either the Pros or guys with at least 3 inches of lift:monocle::notsure:

There's guys with no lift and on 37s, but they're on 15 or 18+offset. I wanna stay 0offset

The problem with that trimming, that it looks like crap, you'll see cuts and basically there's nothing to cover with it. I would definitely try to shim it first

Yea,that's what I'll do. As far as seeing the cuts, there's a door trim I can put to kinda clean it up. But I'll do the shim first

Not to be to aggressive or anything, but if touch the damn bumper and make it look like that, I will come find you like some shit out of the movie "Taken". Shim the bumper, if needed trim some out of an area that is not visible, but that is just to much

You can always find some used bumper caps to test with. Just don’t cut the bracket.

The cut doesn't need to be that severe. Only need to move the profile forward like 1", problem is it looks like shit because the lines are off. You'd also need to move the fog light bracket.

LMAO, you and i have very different definitions of what broke is.
Do not cut the bumper. it will look dumb. shims are a cheap and suitable option. Alternatively you could just remove the end caps.
