    Hi all,

I'm new here, and hoping you can point me in the right direction.

My boyfriend has a black 2023 Tundra Capstone and he's mentioned a few times he'd like to have an after market grill.

He hasn't shared anything specific, but I'd really love to surprise him for Christmas, as he is literally the man who has everything.

    My questions are:

1- Is this something better left to him to decide about?
2- If no, where does one begin looking for a custom grill?
3- If yes, do you have any suggestions for gifts ideas related to the truck?

He's tough to shop for an even harder to surprise, but any guidance you can help with would be so appreciated!

    Thank you!

Hi, TundraGirlfriend. Welcome to the forum! What an incredible girlfriend! I'm going to take a crack at this.

You say he has everything, tough to shop for, and even harder to surprise. Have you ever heard of Tundras to Sedona (T2S)? Maybe consider a trip to beautiful Sedona, Az to meet with other Tundra owners and maybe the exposure to other owners' Tundras and their trucks will give some ideas? As a bonus, you get a nice vacation as well! I'll bet it would surprise him!

Here's some more info for the upcoming event:

This sounds more fun than a piece of plastic.

I think so. He'll get ideas and have a blast, and she will too. I know I'd like it as a Christmas gift if I wasn't already planning on going :D

Great idea. Truck mods are pretty personal I feel like and you need to find out a little more info. You might have to dig a little bit....covertly of course. Maybe next time you are out and about with him, look for another Tundra with a different grille. Mention in passing what is different about his/theirs and what he wanted to change. Just some way to kinda "set him up". :) In the best most loving way possible of course. ha Then report back and I bet the crew here can tell you what he wants with more certainty.

I’d love to see the pics of someone wheeling their capstone at T2S.

X2, but a Capstone owner wouldn't necessarily have to wheel hard there. There's plenty to see and do.
