Thought Id share a little progress on my 2014 Tundra Limited chrome delete. Grille and bulge swap make huge difference, makes me think I’m driving new truck. Haha.

Anyone thinking of doing the swap, be careful removing the original grille. I was very delicate and still broke two brackets because the plastic was so brittle on the bulge. The only reason to be cautious is you're gonna try and resell or save for another day.

The grille and hood bulge are OEM and purchased both from Sparks Parts. The mirror chrome was replaced with OEM caps but the bumpers are next. Not sure if I want to cap with bumpershellz or do a total bumper replacement. Weight of aftermarket bumpers concern me a bit.

I was actually pleasantly surprised. Took more like 2 hours instead of the 45 minutes they claim, however with as many ways as it attached to the truck on each side they will not come off. Should last a long time. Used a little Torque detailer and looks great.

    Alot of them
The bumpershellz are nice for color matching. You have 2 options....Color matching or an actual solid bumper. If you look under the rear bumper, you will see that there isn't much there....it's mostly cosmetic. As far as bumper weights, my truck didn't bat an eye with mine. I have the Rough Country on the front. It weighs about 110 lbs. I have the Road Armour Stealth on the rear, and it weighs about 140-145 lbs.

Been contemplating the bumper replacement vs bumpershellz. If I go with bumpershellz I will color match, I think. But then again I like the TPO look too. haha I'm fickle as a flame.

I didn't want to change my bumper because of the parking sensors... so bumpershellz were a great option in my case!

DANGGGG Your truck looks good. I'll be sending you a DM

As the resident social media guy and guy who shot that video where we said 45 minutes, it CAN be done in 45 minutes. However, realistically, if you're following along with the video or the instructions, it will take longer simply because you're not just DOING it.

Yeah, at least you know they won't just "fall off". I get an inquiry about that at least once a week.

Looks good! I want the 19+ pro grille but can’t justify spending $800 to get it. I have a Trd sport so all I really need is the insert and bracket for the TSS

We purchase bulk rolls of the 3M tape (and it's REAL 3M tape. we want this to be as American as possible). The Automotive Grade tape we provide gets way stickier over time, so it should just be there forever, assuming you don't get into an accident or something. The bolting just helps promote everything staying where it's at.

Makes great sense...the duct tape is an old army joke. Bolts assist the initial setting of the adhesive as well to avoid accidental shifting since it is up front.
