noticed a little tar on my driver side door from any suggestion on how to clean it. Warm soap tester or just blast away with power washer. It’s only been there a day

Diesel fuel, Kerosene, or Mineral Spirits all work well and harmless on painted surfaces.

WD40. Had to clean most of my white truck once. Drove over fresh asphalt once at night

Took about six hours. Most of one can and a lot of elbow grease.

This was out in the country. Workers didn't put any fresh asphalt signs out. I thought it had recently rained in that area.

This guy's a little wordy, but I've found he's pretty reliable. He uses Citrol 266, which is a citrus, water-based cleaner. I'm not sure how easy it is to come by. Would sure beat six hours of WD40, though.

Creamy peanut butter and I’m not given you a line of BS. PB takes it right off quicker than anything. Or I imagine any wax preferably the kind you just wipe on and wipe off. But creamy peanut butter really does work and it never has bothered any paint on any vehicle I’ve used it on.

Thanks for the replies. Haha wouldn’t have expected any less. Guy goes to paint shop and paint guy asks what happened?? Guy replies well I put acetone on with a Brillo pad and then coated it with creamy peanut butter to remove tar
