collision sensor needs to be recalibrated after swapping grill?

    working on it
    I just swapped grill on my '23 limited hybrid for a TRD sport grill. after everything was done I went to start truck and a message came up in dash something with collision sensor please visit dealership. am I the only it happened ? or can I do reset by disconnecting battery ? btw I got an hybrid and I think battery is under back seat? anybody on this forum did reset to clear code ?

    i didn’t have to get it recalibrated and everything is working fine.

    double check the wiring harness is fully engaged plugged together?

    I’ll double check tomorrow. I’m pretty sure it’s in probably but you never know !

    Reporting back here ! Guess what sensor in back came undone !! I probably didn’t push the plug back in far enough. I double checked every other connections. All good ! No more message in dash

    Glad you found the cause.

    Because this has come up several times recently as people have been doing more & more grill swaps, it's worth noting for others:

    A calibration issue really should not throw a DTC / Warning message. If you're getting a DTC, then it's likely something wasn't plugged in, has come unplugged, or a connection/component was damaged during the install.
