I have mostly driven domestic diesels and have always had the larger Ford/GM tow mirrors. During this time I've had to rent trucks for work and really dislike the small mirrors on such a large vehicle.
Now with the TRD PRO on the way, I'm planning to install tow mirrors. I think I'm going to go with the Boost Auto mirrors and noticed they have the paintable option.
Has anyone bought/painted these? My new truck is Lunar Rock, do you see any issues painting this color? Is vinyl wrapping these an option? What are your thoughts/experiences?

Check out Casey’s build thread. He recently installed Boost mirrors that he painted in lunar rock.

I will add - getting a perfect color match isn’t going to be critical with these because you’ve got plenty of black to separate the painted parts from the rest of the truck.

I love these mirrors, much more than the OEM tow mirrors I had on my 2008 and SO much more than the stock standard mirrors

They look slick. If they get manual fold back in stock I might get a set.

Haha, and maybe I should read complete threads first. I have visited your build page from time to time but never read it completely.
Glad you're happy with them. A friend of mine has a body shop so is it just the caps I need to send him to paint or does he need the whole mirror?

Just the caps. I had a friend do mine at his shop as well. The caps are an off-white when they arrive, and are packed into one of the two boxes all together so it’s easy to pull them out and drop them off without having to unpack everything.
