Has anyone used this method to install new springs? I have never done the job but this method looks a lot less sketchy than the autozone rented spring compressor method I've also seen. About to install 5100's with OME springs and I'd be curious for someone who know's this stuff to weigh in on it. Thanks!

I would not trust the shock tower to keep it in place, if it's slips then it's lights out... potentially for good.

Safety isn't cheap nor should you be cheap with your life. No wonder I see so many videos of mechanics and "artisans" missing fingers.
