Hi everyone. I've managed to tear a wire out of a connector. I was following the video in the last post of this thread:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/reverse-light-wire-location-solved-sort-of.14271/
I found the connector he was talking about and tried to t-tap into the wire several times, but couldn't get it to work. While trying to remove the taps, I accidentally tore the wire out of the connector. Does anyone know what type of crimp connectors are used in these so I can try to repair it?

Look closely at that plastic connector. There should be a 5 digit code stamped on it. Most Toyota plugs I have seen are 90980-XXXXX. If you google that it should lead you in the right direction

Thanks for the suggestion. The plug itself doesn't have anything written on it, but the thing it plugs into has 071128B stamped on it. I'm not finding anything when I google search for that.
I can add that having the wire disconnected makes the R not light up on the dash, if that helps figure out what connector this is.

I just went out and checked mine. Its stamped on the other side, I've got 12737, so it would be 90980-12737

It’s hard to see with the eyes, I always take a pic and enlarge. I’m googling real quick, I’ll let ya know if I find anything

I'll go back out when my son goes to bed to make sure it's the right one.

From what I can find online, a 12737 plug would use a 82998-24350 repair terminal. Let me know if yours is different

I still can't find any writing on that plug. First 2 pics are the plug i messed up. Third is the connector that it connects to. 4th is where it is behind the stereo. This was taped to that bubdle of wires in the back and doesnt look like the same plug Thomasbus337 took a picture of. Just want to make sure we're not chasing down the wrong plug parts. 20200629_193725.jpg 20200629_193752.jpg

Ok, I was looking at the plug shown in the link posted that was inside the relay box under the hood. Try and zoom in on that plug. The number should be along the bottom edge
