Hey all, I have 15 tundra XP double cab 6.6' bed with the XP package so it has 20" wheels. I have 275 65 20 tures on it and the truck came with what I'm guessing is a dealer installed 3/1 leveling kit.

I have a set of 285-70/17 Cooper stt pro tires that my wife doesn't want on her 4runner so I was thinking of using them on my tundra and buying some Icon vector 5 wheels so that I could use them.

Do yall think that the 33s will look too small? They measure right at 33 and my cooper atps on the truck are supposedly 34.2".

That only around a .62" drop in clearance but I'm wondering if I'll end up back at the tire shop going to a 315-70 which is 34.7 or so.

Anyone already been down this road?

I believe the only 17” wheel that will fit around the calipers is the TRD Rock Warrior wheels. I just got a set dirt cheap and had them powder coated. Unfortunately I couldn’t save the bead lock rings. The tires are 285/70/17.

There are other 17" wheels that will fit. Several members use them, but you do have to be careful about where the wheel weights are placed to keep from having the calipers knock them off.

    Truck looks good.

My Rock Warrior wheels weigh 22 lbs without the bead lock rings. 22 lbs for the wheels and 50 lbs for the tires is a pretty good combination.

I had heavy tires on my Tacoma and hated it so I am conscious of the weight.

I believe most/all 17 inch methods fit over the calipers. I like the smaller wheel with fatter tire combo.
