    None... yet.
My 2024 SR5 has the heated seats but has no cooled (vented) option. Has anyone added the cooled (vented) option?

If so, can you share the details of what is needed/how hard/easy it was?

Need to change the seats so they have fans. Not worth it. I love vented seats so I bought a limited, the seats also need to be perforated for the air so check the air flow on the cloth seats first.

I’m not sure it’s even worth the trouble. In my 23 platinum it feels like an asthmatic blowing through a straw

I was just thinking about this as a future project.

The Toyota venting isn't amazing compared to some others, but I sat in a few different Tundras when I was in the market and felt the cooling and would definitely love to add it to mine.

A parts diagram would show if the cooling fan is available from the dealership. I highly doubt the seats are different, so you'd probably just need the fans, the switches and if we're really lucky, the wiring is already present.

Im interested in this as well. Whether Toyota parts for the vent fans or third party.

I got the SR5 with premium option that has the heated seats. Pretty sure mine are set up for the vented ones too just think I’d need the parts and time to install it.

My buddy commented that my vented seats were the best he's ever used. He said it moves way more air than his Honda Accord vented seats. But they are loud.

Is the wiring already there? Most everything on these trucks up to this point has shown us if it didn't' come with it from the factory, then Toyota didn't install the wiring.

If you have access to a Carista you can change the vented seats into a quieter mode, I did it with my 1794 LE and you don't hear any nose from the seat anymore, I don't miss the hissing noise when it is on high mode.

I did that, but it cut down airflow. I’m in Phoenix, I need all the airflow I can get.

Southeast Texas here, I’ll never go back, worth every penny. When it’s hot, it’s enough to keep you from sweating, when it’s not hot it will freeze out your gooch

I hear you, here in Richmond it gets pretty hot and since my truck is parked outside the thick Saddleback leather soaks up the heat! The first 30 seconds feels like I selected the heated seat option instead of vented because of the heat soak in the thick leather.

This would be nice to have. My old bosses 2013 Ecoboost would force a/c cooled air out of them. Was really great as I rode up front.

Ceramic window tint? Best $800 I've spent on any vehicle. Really cut down on interior heat after sitting in the sun all day. Just a thought.

The hiss sounds like riding in a jet but man is it worth it when you climb in all sweaty.

I’ll never have a vehicle without it. The fact that these are throughout the truck is a game changer. Noise doesn’t bother me, I just turn DMB up a little louder.

I can say driving my wife's Rav4 with no cooling seat to driving my truck with cooling seat...night and day difference. So much so I'm going to get her some Katskinz seat covers with heat and cooling. I feel it's necessary down here in Texas

Okay OP, hoping this is a stab at making progress…

I’ve got the SR5 premium package that has the heated softex seats. I’m pretty sure the little holes in my seat are the air pass through for the vented option on the seats but they just didn’t install the fans because I’m not a limited or higher :(

So, I’m hoping it’s just a matter of getting components and possibly some wiring to get it done.

I need some help from limited and above trim levels on here for confirmations or pictures! So this is what I have under my seat for plugs and I even peeked in the back zip section trying to find a spot for where the fans would mount or even the plugs.

    upload_2024-8-15_14-20-17.jpg

    upload_2024-8-15_14-20-42.jpg

Can anyone with limited and higher trims that have the vented seats get similar pics and post for us to check what's different?

It looks like we're looking for b1 and b15 on the driver side then a9 and a10 on passenger side

    upload_2024-8-15_14-30-26.png

    upload_2024-8-15_14-31-30.png

    upload_2024-8-15_14-32-7.png

I looked under the seat on both sides and on the back of the driver side, behind the zip section but couldn't find any un-used plugs or any obvious mount points for the fan assemblies. Then again, I don't really know where they would be located or what to look for (which is why I'm asking for more pics from someone who has it).

@MrKABC awesome! Thanks for jumping in. I just took a pic directly under the seat from the front of the driver seat looking at the cables there. So from this area:
    upload_2024-8-17_6-57-18.jpg

Then from the back of the drivers seat, I found a zipper section that I zipped up and took a pic looking in there. Here is where I found the zipper. Didn’t really have a handle on it so it was a bit tricky:

Any part numbers you see for the fan assembly would be helpful. Even if the cable assembly has a part number?

I don’t know if I expect much looking under the seat on that first picture but it’s worth a shot - may find another plug hanging out or the fan assembly itself.

The back should show us more because we can access it easier. I expect to see the fan mounted somewhere in there.

I guess they needed that access to maintain (install or replace) the heated and vented seat parts which is why the back has a zip flap to start with? :monocle:

    Here's the front!

Didn't know there is a zipper! Will get those shortly.

Awesome, thank you! Do you know what this piece says on it that I have circled below? Think that is the under seat fan blower for the vented seats.

    upload_2024-8-17_18-11-10.png

also interested in where the wire goes that is plugged into this.

The back behind the zipper section should have something similar looking and will probably be easier to read what’s on it.

This is great, thanks. Now I gotta do some homework to see how these are sold. Think I have the mounting supports just need the fan assembly and gotta figure out wiring.

@trazerr did you happen to get any more pics a bit further back looking at where the fans were for perspective?

I’ve found the fan assemblies online (thanks to your pics) that include the pigtail wire to the connectors from one of my previous posts, but I can’t find out where that would be fed from on the main wire harness.
