Looking at new tires, LT275/70R18 or LT295/70R18.

Mostly highway with some dirt and gravel roads and pastures.

    Any opinions on either?

Just from what I've seen in the difference of tread design between the two, I'd say AT3 since you are using them for mostly highway.

I like my 295/70/18 Toyo At 2s if you need another option!

The Pros are a M/T. Very good. I have a set that is going back on. Not the greatest for mostly highway driving but if you don't put a lot of miles on your funny then they are bad ass except for ice. Snow....no problem.

I've run the ATP and AT3 on 2 different vehicles. Great traction and wear on both. I am 95%+ onroad as are most vehicle owners (calculate your mileage off pavement and tell me you're not).

I have RTX now. A little too boring of a tire, but they were new when I bought the truck and I will use them till they're dead.

I will also be going to 295/70-18. 275/70-18 currently.

Since I keeping the stock wheels this time around, and am wanting to keep the truck close to a "pro" look, I am going to go with the 275/70R18 sized tire.
As for what tire well I am leaning towards the ATS cooper. Seems like a good fit for the driving I do. I might change my mind but for now that's what I am leaning towards.

I have 295 stt pros, it was a mistake for me. As far as an MT goes they are wearing really well (25k miles and easily will get another 15k) but too much hum. I should have gone for all terrains. I had fallen wildpeak ats on the last tundra and they were much quieter. I’ve also had toyo open country mts and they were about the same noise level. My advice, if your on pavement most of the time and at all concerned about road noise go for an all terrain.

If you need a Mud tire, go M/T. I have the Pro's, they're an E load range so pretty heavy with a strong sidewall.

IMO You can't beat BFG KO2s. Purchased my 4th set for four different types of vehicles.

I have the nitto ridge grapplers on my 2013 crewmax. They handle very well with minimal road noise.problem is ,they are a little pricey. I have the cooper at3's on my 2000 tundra 4x4 and they are awesome! I Have went through 3sets so far and have all worn the same. all terrain tires are much better for highway travel. I live in curvy mountain roads so I don't get 50,000 miles out of my tires. And a heavy right foot!!

No experience with the Cooper STT Pros, but I have the Cooper AT3 XLTs and love them. I've only had them for a few hundred miles, though, so time will tell how they fare.
