OK, I tried using the search feature in the 1st Gen forum but didn't find this info so I am sorry if this has been beaten to death already.

Searching for the correct size hinge pins, I ordered part number 34871 and the fit guide showed my 2001 Tundra SR5 Access cab front doors.

Waited 2 days for them to come, I can tell you these are not the correct size hinge pins. They dropped right in and just didn't seem right.
The correct part for this SR5 front door is Dorman 38470. The comparison is shown below.

    Dorman O.D. 38471 =.314 too loose.
Dorman O.D. 38470 =.354 perfect, have to gently hammer them in so you can tighten the nut.

The driver's door works perfectly again. Amazing the change when you get the right part, isn't it?

Don't think I had an OEM part number, just used Dorman info to track down the first part #which was the 34871. Soon after pulling the pin out, no small chore of cutting the old one in half, with a long drift managed to remove the two pieces. Took about 4 hrs from start to finish for LF door upper and lower pins.

I'm questioning this a little. Every other thing I read says 38471 as far a part number. Are they loose to account for the bushing to be where it's supposed to?
