The steels I bought came with sensors but they are 2020 and won't communicate with my truck (2016). So I called DT today and thye said $320 to swap them. $60 per sensor plus $20 a tire labor.

    Does that seem high?

The sensor brand was BH Sens

    Alot of them
Factory sensors from Toyota average about $65.00 each. Are you staying with the factory steel wheels? Steel wheels use a different sensor than alloy wheels.

I'm planning on keeping both sets. For towing the selection of LT tires seems a lot better in 18", so I bought the steel 18s

Understand on the sensors. My understanding is 40 degree for steel, 20 degree for alloy.

It's high. You can buy the OEM sensors on Amazon for $29 each and DT will put them in for free when you're replacing tires. I did it just a few months ago on my 2013 Sequoia. I had no idea what brand sensors were in there and I bought BH Sens. When they pulled the old sensors out that was the OEM brand in there from the factory too so worked out perfectly.

I think DT had a 5-6 warranty on the sensonsors.
