Quick question. Does $290 seem like a reasonable price to pay for all this? Its a very popular shop with awesome reviews. In northern VA

I paid 60 for all wheels installed and balance and 75 for alignment at an actual alignment shop.

No. Seems high. I paid 150 for all the above.

Man, I haven't been able to ever find a place to do a front end alignment for less than $100+. I get charged for two mount and balance because the old wheels and tires get demounted, tpms removed, new valve stems, re mounted and balanced. Then new wheels get tpms, mounted, balance, install and aligned. I expect it to be a little more $ being close to DC.

Did you purchase the tires from them? If you're bringing them you're own tires then they are probably charging you more than if they sold you tires.

Discount/America's Tire is $19 per tire. You can probably find an alignment for under $100

Depends on location.. northern VA near DC? Probably reasonable. Here in SF it’d be ~$40+ per wheel plus ~$120+ for an alignment at a higher quality shop.

If they do good work, that seems like a fair price. Watch them do a few before paying.....

Yes, make sure they don’t do this (a friend had a local shop do this.. total train wreck):

How many mpg did he lose? :D

This all depends on where you live but look for a Discount tire. I think I paid about 80 when they swapped my tires from my old rims to new rims. I'm in southern California where nothing is cheap.

Alignment is tricky, especially if your truck doesn't have stock suspension. If I want "okay it drives straight" I can get it done for $60. If I want it done right so my tires don't wear out it's about $120. I don't mind paying the extra $60 to protect my $1300 tires.

I’m with you there. This is the most popular tire shop in the area and they do pretty much everything as far as vehicles. Fleet vehicles, tractor trailers, 4x4s etc. Used them once and they were awesome.
