More than more leg room, are Tundra Crewmax back seats more comfortable than other Tundra back bench seats? Are they built better for comfort?

    Too many, but not enough....
They are in my opinion. Not only do you get more legroom, but by virtue of the fact that there is more room in general, it allows the actual seats to feel like a real chair and not upright like a small airplane seat or the shitty jump seats in the back of my old ranger. In other words, it doesnt feel like a back seat.

The bench is less comfortable, but two 6' tall adults survived back there a 7-8 hours long road trip and didn't complain. I even nap there semi-regularly. Not a full size bed, but ok for the task.

Post 2013 the seats are not quite as good as pre 2013. My 2012 has full sliding and reclining rear seats and it was a mistake for toyota to remove that. My dads 2021 crewmax is almost as comfortable with one minor inconvenience for me being the "platform" under the rear seats that extends past the front edge of the seat and does not allow my knees to bend 90* and put my feet below the front edge of the seat. Otherwise, the outside seats in the rear are almost identical feeling to the Non-powered front passenger seat other than not being able to recline.
