Anyone ordered Factory Toyota color matched fender flares with a VIN from a TRD Sport or Capstone? Those models come with the body color matched fender flares. I would like to get OEM Celestial Silver Metallic flares for my Limited TRD Off Road.

I know that PaintedOEMParts.com offers these, but would like to go direct through Toyota if available.

While I don’t have a color matched wheel arch. I have a platinum model and the arches are black. I messed one of mine up and needed to replace mine. I found out that Toyota no longer sells them painted. It will be a matte black finish like on the SR/SR5s. Then you have to have it painted. This information came from my local dealer and 3 dealers I’ve emailed across the country trying to find old stock. If you happen to find any in gloss black shoot me a message please!

I figured this was the case. Headed to Toyota Parts counter today to confirm.

No need to confirm. They don't come painted. Period.

I ordered CSM flares from paintedoemparts and they are perfect. Sold the black flares off my platinum and recovered some money.

Likely going this route. How much did you get for your OEM black flares? Mine are in perfect condition.

I ended up pulling the stock ones and having them painted at a local shop. I think they turned out pretty good.

Looks great. What did the shop charge to prep and paint?

Less than $400. My nearest dealership outsources their paint and body work so I took the flares to the shop they use.

    Your results may vary....

I ended up ordering color matched Celestial Silver Metallic fender flare set from paintedoemparts.com. All 4 flares have a defect in paint, 1 with plastic deformed and a drip mark at the edge. All 4 with paint pimples. I can confirm they are OEM Toyota parts.

Definitely expected the highest quality finished product at the premium price and reaching out to the company this morning to see how they plan to resolve. Part of the reason I ordered from paintedoemparts.com was the 100% satisfaction guarantee and lifetime warranty on paint. We will see how they respond.

I saw a lot of positive feedback here on the forum when ordering from paintedoemparts.com. So hoping my flares were just a bad batch of paint processing and 1 defective deformed flare.

The rear spoiler was already matched. I am thinking of getting the bumpershellz matching covers for the chrome on the rear bumper.

Contacted paintedoemparts.com and provided pictures. They replied offering an apology for not catching the deformed fender during paint, and a prepaid shipping label to send the flares back. Option 1 is a full refund. Option 2 is a replacement for the 1 deformed fender, and buff/polish the paint pimple blemishes out of the other 3 flares. It really looks like debris was in the paint and I am not confident the buff/polish will correct the blemishes.

So I took Option 1, full refund. The customer service team provided quick response and I give them a thumbs up for standing behind their satisfaction guarantee.

Headed to my local Toyota / Lexus paint and body shop and likely have them paint my OEM flares.

I was thinking Toyota never offered paint matched for the 22's and up. Pretty sure just the textured black. I wanted a TRD Sport since it was all color matched. But the CM was not available with the 6.5 bed. I thought of painting the stock ones on the truck but opted for the smooth rough country. Plan to wrap them, or paint. They've been in the box for over a year. :-(

I checked with Toyota parts and they do not offer a color matched replacement flare found on the TRD Sport and Capstone. They can order the the raw black and then you can have them painted.

Yes, I was just stating that the never offered a painted flare for the 22+. I have been in the same boat since 2022. LoL

It’s odd they don’t offer the color match replacement when it comes factory on the TRD Sport and Capstone models. The flares are very easy to remove and my local Toyota / Lexus collision center is going to color match them and paint will have a lifetime warranty. A bit more work on my side, but and result is I’ll have a limited with CSM color matched flares.

Ya, I'm guessing it's so they don't have to have stock of so many different colors. Just 4 parts, well plus the camo ones on Pro's.

Unscrew the black bolts and the fenders come off by slightly pulling them away from the truck body. Will take 10 minutes to remove all 4. Very easy.
