I am going to tackle taking the head off of my 2003 tundra 4.7L due to blow by on an intake valve (confirmed doing a leakdown test) Any advice is greatly appreciated especially the proper cam shaft bolt removal/ install as well as the head bolt tightening pattern. Also, how hard is it to re-allign the cam shafts when reinstalling?

Looks like someone has this covered.

big key item to remember, PUT THE SERVICE BOLT IN THE CAM SCISSOR GEAR BEFORE REMOVING THE CAM. or you’ll be buying a new cam.
