D-Day today on Omaha Beach

    So proud of me son, eagle scout to the core. We did Boy Scouts flags routes for over 13 years for all important days, Memorial, Veterans, you name it. I think I did something right with him as he is such a patriotic little man.

    He is doing an international study program this summer in Paris, France and today he surprised me with few pictures from the Omaha Beach D-Day. He took a day off and took the train from Paris all the way to Omaha Beach to acknowledge and remember this tremendous US sacrifice.

    He snapped few pictures early in the morning and yes please remember, today is D-Day. And he found few Texans there as well.
