I have a 2013 tundra and some squirrels chewed through a wiring harness of some sort. It’s the wires on the driver side that run from the fuse box to the firewall, and there are some wires coming off some sort of module that T into these wires, at that Intersection is where the wires are chewed up. Is this section of wires replaceable without replacing the entire engine wiring harness? Any help is much appreciated, I am not good at reading wire diagrams, I tried my best.

I would inspect your whole engine compartment for damage. Look under the engine cover as well for nests. Could be rats too unless you saw squirrels getting in there. Also check with you insurance company. Someone here on the forum recently had their insurance cover most of the cost.

Good advice on checking with insurance company. If your confident enough in your repair skills, disconnect the ground to the battery, determine the wire gauge of the damaged harness and splice in new wires. I'd use solder and shrink tubing instead of wire connectors. If you have a mechanic friend who you are confident in have that person help you if necessary. I agree with the Tundra234, probably rats or field mice.

Limited options unfortunately. Most people who recently have tried to order a replacement engine wiring harness have been told by Toyota it’s on back order and no idea when they will be available.

The damage is part of the entire engine wiring harness. The area you show is by the brake booster and ABS ecu.

You could look for a used harness from a wrecked vehicle but it will take some work in searching and verifying parts numbers. You need the same style one and Toyota made lots of different versions. You would have to remove the entire engine harness then install the new one.

If it was me I am going under the drivers side dash, unhooking all the junction connectors and pulling the harness out through the engine firewall. This would give you room to work on it/repair it. Without doing this it will be very hard to access. Take lots of pictures as you go to help you put it back together.

It is going to take some time to fix right, as others have mentioned soldering iron and heat shrink is what you need. Buy some wire of the same size and match up the colors that are broken. Do not start throwing butt connectors on it, you are asking for problems down the road. Do it once do it right and don’t rush it.

You can probably find a shop nearby that will fix it but understand what you are paying for here is labor and time.
